What We Do

If you have a hearing deficit, we have a solution.

z

Hearing Instruments

A hearing loss can create a wall between you and your loved ones. Making it difficult for you and everyone around you. But getting the help you need doesn’t have to be difficult.

g

Audiological Evaluations

We will examine your medical history as it relates to your hearing. We will then evaluate your hearing to determine if you have a hearing deficit. The level of your hearing, as well as possible cause, will be assessed to determine the most suitable treatment options.

Other Hearing Services

Hearing Aid Repairs

Repairs may be needed from time to time in order to keep your hearing aids working to factory specifications. Many repairs can be performed in our office. We also offer repair services for hearing aids not purchased through our office.

Custom Earmolds

The shape of your outer ear and ear canal are unique to you.  A custom-fit provides increased comfort and retention.  We offer specialized earmolds for hunters, workers, musicians and swimmers.

What You Can Expect

A Detailed History

We will begin by taking a history of what you have experienced with your ears and your hearing.

Physical Examination of the Ears

The next step is a physical examination of your ears.  Using video otoscopy we will examine your ears for any physical condition that might indicate a need for a medical referral.

Impedance Audiometry

Impedance Audiometry may be employed to assess the function of your eardrum and middle ear.

Pure Tone Audiometry

While in our sound proof booth, Pure Tone Audiometry helps determine the very softest sounds you are able to hear. Your hearing levels are measured by presenting your hearing system with pure tones (beeps).  We measure how loud the sound has to be before you’re aware there is a sound.

Speech Audiometry

Speech Audiometry is performed to assess how clearly you can discriminate words under ideal conditions.

Explanation

We believe your journey to better hearing is a partnership. We believe that journey should begin by making sure you understand the level of your hearing acuity and where your hearing is and whether we might be able to improve your hearing.
